The objective of the Foundation is to engage in the following activities to promote comprehensive social, scientific, environmental, cultural, and technological development. It also aims to advance scientific knowledge and promote educational development across India. ISCB Research Foundation is committed to facilitating research and the dissemination of valuable knowledge and services for the benefit of humanity at large, with a particular focus on India and its various regions. Our aims and objectives include:

Scientific Awareness and Education:

We aim to popularize science by organizing lectures, seminars, symposiums, memorial lectures, workshops, and conferences. In addition, we publish various forms of educational literature, such as books, booklets, teaching aids, and periodicals. These efforts are geared toward generating scientific and educational awareness at the grassroots level throughout all states and union territories of the country.

Development of Scientific and Leadership Qualities:

Our objective is to cultivate and encourage the development of inherent qualities such as scientific thinking, literary habits, leadership, rationality, and a nationalistic outlook among students, teachers, and the general public. We also aim to support inter- and multidisciplinary research projects by awarding scholarships, grants, and prizes, and establishing memorial lectures at various educational and scientific institutions.

Educational Resources and Institutions:

To further the education of the people of India, we facilitate the establishment of schools, colleges, and libraries. Additionally, we support the publication of books, booklets, pamphlets, newspapers, magazines, and electronic resources such as e-contents and educational modules related to Science and Technology.

Natural Resource Conservation:

We are dedicated to promoting programs and projects that protect and develop natural resources and traditional knowledge systems. Our efforts are inclusive, extending to all persons, regardless of race, caste, community, or creed.

Research on Herbal and Biochemical Products:

We support experimental research to discover herbal medicines, pesticides, and other biochemical products that are of economic and environmental significance, particularly for organic farming and other producers. This includes efforts to develop formulations based on these discoveries.

Consistent Expansion of Activities:

We engage in various activities aligned with the trust’s objectives, as deemed appropriate by the Trustees, including additional actions not explicitly listed but consistent with our mission.

Sustainability Goals:

We actively promote and contribute to sustainability efforts, in line with goals mandated by international bodies and the Government of India, ensuring alignment with global and national priorities.

Fundraising and Support:

To achieve our objectives mentioned above, we seek to raise funds through various types of memberships, fellowships, donations, CSR initiatives, and consultancy or project work. These resources are vital to the success of our mission in promoting science, education, and sustainability.
